Rajasthan is known for its Forts, Legendary Heroes and Festivals which is unique for its grandeur in the country, where diversity of the style can be seen. Royal families, Marwar,
Mewar, Jodhpur , Kanota , Haroti, Bikaner and many such Rajwaras or Royal families had concocted inimitable liquors prepared keeping in mind the climatic conditions of that area. |

Besides royal families, many small reputed families or Thikanedar were entrusted with the job of brewing their own special liquor by the Rulers. The special liquors were used according to the season festivity and mood of the royal families.
In those days there were different departments for liquors. Three types of liquors were prepared, Ikbara, Dobara and Asaav. Ikbara liquors were prepared for common man, Dobara for officers and higher middle class population and Asaav was prepared for Rulers, Princes and Royal Families. |
