ROYAL JAGMOHAN

HISTORY, GHARANA AND THIKANA

JAGMOHAN is an ancient recipe of the Royal House of Marwar Jodhpur. It was distilled in the Royal Cellars for the exclusive use of Kings & Princes of Royal family of Marwar-Jodhpur. Originally in the then State of Kishangarh it was manufactured with a unique name of ‘Manmohan’ in the 19th Century.
With the improved recipe of ‘Manmohan’ Maharaja Umaid Singh Ji prepared Liqueur at Mandore Distillery, for the Royal families to commemorate the victory in world War which was named as “Victory”. Later in 1945-46 Maharaja Umaid Singh Ji thought of improving this recipe and he got manufactured an improved version of this liqueur with better taste/flavours which was named as '‘Jagmohan”.

Now the recipe of Royal Jagmohan has been provided by Maharaja Gaj Singh Ji, His Highness of Jodhpur and It is presented to the connoisseur under the brand name of Royal Heritage Liqueur- ‘ROYAL JAGMOHAN’. Its main ingredient are herbs, spices, dry fruits, seasonal fruits, murabas (malade) and bark which are finely blended with milk, deshi ghee (butter oil), saffron and crystal sugar. Being a herbal liqueur it has got medicinal and curative values.
GHARANA AND THIKANA
Royal Jagmohan belongs to Marwar- Jodhpur Gharana. Jagmohan once exclusively made in the Royal cellars of Marwar- Jodhpur for use of the Royal family.
